Strainer Cores

• Composition SC-28:
  These strainer cores are made of UNIVERSAL developed formula and are suitable for use with any metal where the temperature does not exceed 3250 degree F.
• Composition K-148:
  For casting manganese, bronze, and similar alloys, the K-148 composition is recommended.  This composition is of low porosity and is suitable for use where a long time lag exists between making and pouring the mold.
• No spalling or erosion will occur during pouring with either UNIVERSAL SC-28 or K-148 compositions.
